Company Experts have developed, certified and now produce INFLEX®-FK-31, a unique cable fire-protection system, which is a special mesh impregnated with a fire-retardant compound that intumesce under high temperatures and protects cables against fire spread.
Fire-retardant mesh is designed for protection of cables with decreased parameters of fire-protection, including the conditions of increased humidity; for cable protection at reconstruction facilities; for protection of cables with «old» fire-retardant coatings, without their disassembly.
Unlike intumescent fire-retardant paints, special equipment and skills are not required during the installation, it is easily controlled during operation and installation.
INFLEX®-FK-31 performs several functions:
• Prevents flame spread along electric cable sheaths in case of fire in accordance with GOST R 53311-2009.
• Localizes fire emerging in the cable line (cable tray) – high-tensile foam is formed in the ignition point, forms a protective closure which prevents the outside oxygen from penetrating and development of heat source.
• Decreases effects of ignition – toxicity, smoke formation, corrosion activity of smoke- and gas emission products during burning and smoldering of materials of integrated cable system.
Operation time is over 25 years.
No repair, restoration, maintenance costs during the whole service life.
Restoration of cable line fire-protection during cable repair, replacement, disassembly/assembly hardly requires additional costs.
In the places of heated cable the materials change colour, which allows for defining the place of potential breakdown visually.
INFLEX®-FK-31 perforation ensures normal natural ventilation of cables.
High technological properties of assembly guarantees the possibility of works performance under any ambient conditions – temperature, humidity, lack of space, without the necessity of cable surface preparation.
The INFLEX-FК-31 fire mesh has been successfully tested, which is confirmed by the certificate of conformity according to the requirements of the EAEU TR 043/2017.
According to the results of the sanitary and epidemiological examination, expert evidence No. 2083 dated September 20, 2018 was issued.
